The Brief

AI in the home is a credibility problem before it's a product problem.

Prefix is building an AI-powered AV technician that automates the management, monitoring, and maintenance of audiovisual systems inside smart homes. Pablo brought in the project with an early customer already signed and a clear go-to-market, but needed a deck that could close investors who require depth.

The deck needed to do two jobs: establish the market opportunity in smart home AV (undersold, underserved) and make the AI credibility case convincingly. 24 slides, dense but tight.

Stage 01

Call

Deep-dive into the smart home AV space, the early customer's needs, and the investor profile Pablo was targeting. We identified the positioning angle: not just "AI for AV" but "the first managed intelligence layer for smart home AV infrastructure."

Stage 02

Storyboard

A one-page storyboard covering all 24 slides, with the investor thesis mapped across each section. Revised with Pablo to reflect the live customer engagement prominently. No design started before this was locked.

Stage 03

Design

24-slide deck built from the storyboard, with a clean, authoritative, precise visual language. The early customer case is woven into the narrative rather than treated as a separate reference section. Delivered in PPT and PDF.
