So our internal project was that we hired artificial intelligence (AI) for software development in our startups and startup projects. We constantly work on projects that help our clients get investors. In case you’re aware of us, we’re an investment preparation agency that has been working with Switzerland for quite a long time. When I say working on software development, I’m referring to projects like an AI pitch creator, a financial model, or a tool for our startups.
We received all sorts of invoices and quotations from software development agencies for over hundred thousand dollars in some cases. The reality is most agencies build reliability problems. They create dependency, as in when we are working with them, they’re going to generate a first version of a software project. But you most certainly won’t be able to use this first version for public releases. You’re going to need to invest more time and effort to actually get to a working product. All development firms know that quite well. That’s why their premium might not be that high at the beginning, but it is going to be recurring for months.
Claude For Startup Software Development
Knowing that, we decided to give a shot to a couple of AI tools in the market to see whether they could actually generate products that could work for our future usage. After testing for over six months, we realized that the most suitable AI tool for this exact use case was Anthropic’s Claude. Claude was used by our teams instead of GPT, even though GPT is not clearly that bad. Claude puts up the development in a whole new manner.
Using our software developers – we do have a few with development experience – is a necessity for this system to work. But they’re not going to exert that much effort. So you’re not going to need to keep hiring more software developers. Our software development includes the basis of the project, the groundstone, and the structure of the software surface, and how it could actually be used within our own environment internally.
The Core Of Software Development
Claude is perfect when it comes to bug fixing, checking for problems, and generating code from scratch. It really depends on the language we’re using. We use JavaScript in our projects and connect them with other APIs like Google Sign-in and so on.
When it comes to connections and integration, it’s quite good. It might be a little bit outdated and you might have to copy the documentation into its files, but overall, it’s quite decent. What we really advise you to do when you start a Claude project is to actually create a new project on your Claude account. Creating the project puts the learning data that you actually need into the project files.
When it comes to design, Claude is not bad in reactive design. However, we always decide on purchasing templates from outside, like a React template from somewhere, and then implementing it. Let Claude implement it. At the end of the day, all these AI tools are not really good in design. They are just learning as they go. Humans are a lot better when it comes to design because it is kind of subjective.
Our Recommendation – Give It A Shot
So we advise you to invest in small templates of icons, buttons, and so on, so that you would have a dashboard which you can use distinctly based on Claude’s help to create the project that you need. We advise you to use AI for software development before thinking of hiring an agency. The difference in cost is quite large. We highly advise you to just give it a shot when it comes to development. You don’t have to use Claude – you can use Gemini or GPT.
We have the most experience with Claude and we can vouch for it as the best at the moment.
