It then promised:

Yet it confidently promised a 30–50% improvement.
This is the first pattern in a typical Google Gemini Proposal:

- Big percentage gain
- No baseline data
The output wasn’t wrong. It was generic.
Test 2: Industry Variation
I tested whether changing industries would change the structure.
Prompts:
- UAE energy company diversifying into tech
- Dubai logistics company improving operations
- Riyadh financial services firm enhancing customer service
What Gemini Did
All three proposals:
- Referenced regional AI strategies (D33, Vision 2030, etc.)
- Used the same section structure:
- Strategic Context
- Core Use Cases
- ROI Table
- Data Sovereignty
- 3-Phase Roadmap
- Promised 20–40% improvements
Analysis
Different industries.
Different business models.
Nearly identical structure and percentage gains.
The Google Gemini Proposal template appears to be:
- Reference national AI strategy
- List Gemini features
- Add ROI table with round numbers
- Insert 3-phase roadmap
- Close with “Would you like to discuss next steps?”
This isn’t strategic consulting.
It’s structured pattern completion.
Test 3: Real Constraints
Then I changed the type of prompt.
Prompt:
“Write an implementation strategy for a Saudi tech startup with legacy systems, resistance to change, and limited technical staff.”
What Gemini Did
It addressed:
- Cultural resistance (WIIFM workshops)
- Technical risk (avoid touching core code)
- Resource constraints (no-code agents)
Analysis
This output was significantly better.
Why?
Because the prompt forced Gemini to solve specific problems instead of writing a generic Google Gemini Proposal.
When given real constraints, the tool produced strategic thinking.
When given generic requests, it produced templates.
Test 4: Competitive Advantage
Prompt:

Output:

It avoided obvious clichés.
But replaced them with a new variation of the same structure.
Analysis
Even when instructed to avoid templates, the system gravitates toward them.
LLMs are trained on “what works.”
But when everyone uses what works, it becomes generic.
Test 6: The ROI Follow-Up
After Gemini promised “30–50% productivity improvement,” I asked:
“How did you calculate the 30–50% increase?”
It responded with benchmark-based justification.
For a fictional company.
Analysis
This is the most dangerous part of a Google Gemini Proposal:
Confident logic built on nonexistent data.
The explanation sounds plausible.
But it’s detached from reality.
What These Tests Reveal About a Google Gemini Proposal
Across six experiments, a pattern emerged:
When prompted generically → Gemini produces template-driven proposals.
When prompted with constraints → Gemini produces useful analysis.
The issue isn’t the tool.
It’s how consultants use it.
Most Google Gemini proposals follow this structure:
- Regional AI reference
- Feature list
- 20–50% productivity gain
- ROI table with round numbers
- 3-phase roadmap
- Polished closing
None of that requires knowing the client.
The Practical Takeaway
If you’re using AI to create a Google Gemini Proposal:
- Don’t ask it to “write a proposal.”
- Feed it real metrics and constraints.
- Use it for analysis.
- Write the proposal yourself.
Before sending any proposal, ask:
Could this exact document be sent to another company with only the name changed?
If yes — it’s a template.
And your client could have generated it themselves.

AI tools don’t replace thinking.
They amplify it.
If your prompt is generic, your Google Gemini Proposal will be generic.
If your prompt is specific, your output becomes strategic.
The difference isn’t the model.
