Here’s what I found.

What Gemini Produced

It opened with:

It then promised:

The output wasn’t wrong. It was generic.


Test 2: Industry Variation

I tested whether changing industries would change the structure.

Prompts:

What Gemini Did

All three proposals:

  • Referenced regional AI strategies (D33, Vision 2030, etc.)
  • Used the same section structure:
    • Strategic Context
    • Core Use Cases
    • ROI Table
    • Data Sovereignty
    • 3-Phase Roadmap
  • Promised 20–40% improvements

Analysis

Different industries.
Different business models.
Nearly identical structure and percentage gains.

The Google Gemini Proposal template appears to be:

  1. Reference national AI strategy
  2. List Gemini features
  3. Add ROI table with round numbers
  4. Insert 3-phase roadmap
  5. Close with “Would you like to discuss next steps?”

This isn’t strategic consulting.
It’s structured pattern completion.


Test 3: Real Constraints

Then I changed the type of prompt.

Prompt:

“Write an implementation strategy for a Saudi tech startup with legacy systems, resistance to change, and limited technical staff.”

What Gemini Did

It addressed:

  • Cultural resistance (WIIFM workshops)
  • Technical risk (avoid touching core code)
  • Resource constraints (no-code agents)

Analysis

This output was significantly better.

Why?

Because the prompt forced Gemini to solve specific problems instead of writing a generic Google Gemini Proposal.

“How did you calculate the 30–50% increase?”

It responded with benchmark-based justification.

For a fictional company.

Analysis

This is the most dangerous part of a Google Gemini Proposal:

Confident logic built on nonexistent data.

The explanation sounds plausible.
But it’s detached from reality.


What These Tests Reveal About a Google Gemini Proposal

Across six experiments, a pattern emerged:

When prompted generically → Gemini produces template-driven proposals.
When prompted with constraints → Gemini produces useful analysis.

The issue isn’t the tool.

It’s how consultants use it.

Most Google Gemini proposals follow this structure:

None of that requires knowing the client.


The Practical Takeaway

If you’re using AI to create a Google Gemini Proposal:

Before sending any proposal, ask:
